EOS650 Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 I'm not sure how many people here listen to My Bloody Valentine, but for those who do, has anyone tried Kevin Shields' guitar techniques on bass? How'd it work out? I'd like to eventually get a trem on my bass for this purpose, but I don't know if it'd be worth it... Quote
The Funk Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 (edited) I've never listened to My Bloody Valentine so I don't know about their guitarist's technique specifically but I do know that Les Claypool is a prominent bassist who does use a tremolo on his bass. Maybe check him out? Edited May 7, 2008 by The Funk Quote

Buzz Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 Drop a line to Bloodaxe, he's got at least one trem equipped bass, he'll be able to help. Quote
