Evil Undead Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I have to ask (because I've also seen it on the Little Giant) what does it mean when it says 2x250? Sorry to derail - if you want to PM me the answer please do and I'll delete my ramblings
Bassbird333 Posted October 16, 2012 Author Posted October 16, 2012 It is strange! The amp is wired so that you get 250 watts from each speakon. In order to get the full 500 watts you need an 8 ohm cab plugged in each speakon. The Amp is still very powerful when you just use one cab. I have gigged a number of times in quite large venues and I have only pushed it to 3/4 on at most.
