It is not legit.

You were misled.

Hope you didn't pay too much for it... looks like it could be a nice bass.

It`s a civil matter, but also a case of selling something that was advertised as something it was not. If he won`t refund the cash, small claims court. It will be up to you to prove he knowingly misled you though.

The guy who sold you this is either one of two things: a complete moron or a total twat.

Needless to say you've got to make sure you get all your money back through some sort of civil action, and don't ever buy anything vintage without the appraisal of someone you can really trust. If it looks/sounds too good to be true, it almost always is. Sorry you fell prey and I hope you can resolve the situation.

It's a real fake.

You could always try and get your money back first, after all, you know where he lives (it might help to take some 'muscle' with you to try and convince him :) ). If he doesn't want to play ball, you can always take him to the small claims court as already suggested.

Good luck in getting this matter resolved.

What a sorry bloody tale, find myself wishing that you had come on here and asked the questions prior to buying. :( .

Good luck, hope you get it resolved. I suspect you will have a real job on your hands though.
