orangepeelneil Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Hi there, Just a general query i'm considering upgrading the pickups and tuners on my highway 1 p bass.Did you also choose to do this? and do you know of a direct replacement tuner, they seem to be smaller that the std gotoh tuners on my old p-bass? Yes I replaced all of the rest! The Hipshots I bought because they are Ultra lights, and I wanted a matching D-tuner, ( I dont like neck heavy fenders) altough Hipsot do direct replacements... Pickups is a whole differnt subject and there are loads of threads in repair and tech on teh subject.....
