sblueplanet
Ive been looking at a Warwick bass currently for sale. Thing is, Im a lefty and would need to turn the nut round. It has a plastic nut not a brass one. Can these be unscrewed and switched around?

[/quote] No, but you can buy lefty nuts from Warwick's online store and they are dead easy to remove and replace.
Ollie73
The Just-a-Nut from are normally glued on ( just to keep them in place) and awith a small blade you can just pop the old one out and put the new one . Just use 2/3 drop of superglue .. Make sure you order the proper one and get the just a nut 3 which is not in brass but much easier to adjust... The brass one have an adjustable screw under each string ... Not easy as you always have to tight and loosen the string to adjust...the new ones have 2 screws between strings... Darkstrike
You can get the new style in brass too, but they're bloody pricey.
Warwick_Official
As others have mentioned, you can replace the nut. A brass JAN III would be the preferred replacement. There is a replacement video, seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjCuHGLB-1I&feature=plcp I hope this helps. Please let me know if you've got any questions or need assistance in any way. Thanks!

sblueplanet
Thanks for the info guys. I know with the brass ones you can simply unscrew the individual string adjusters out and reverse the order. This would be preferable.
