This wonderful bass is almost perfect for me, so i feel like a bit of a nitpicker offering it here. I bought it from a fellow basschatter, and it sounds just fantastic. However, the neck is shallower than I was hoping for (I was expecting the same chunky neck as the Tribute) and i find I prefer a 'warmer' fingerboard than ebony.

Ideally, if anybody has an L2000 Tribute with a rosewood board and would like to trade up (with cash my way) that would be great. I know I'd have to defret it.

Failing that, an outright sale would have to be £750.

I would consider trades for a four string fretless, but they'd have to be pretty good to equal the L2000.

If all else fails, I'll happily keep hold of it.

Thanks for reading.

Shame that I don't have £750 spare or that you're not interested in a Fender Jazz Power Special.

Have a bump anyway from another South Cumbrian, very nice fretless.

Cheers for that. I really like the look of your Fender, but Jazz necks are too narrow for me. Anyway, I'm really getting comfortable with the G&L now. Hope your sale goes well.
