RussFM Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 My Sandberg Electra VS4 just arrived, I'll post a review once I've had time to play it, but for now here are some pics. Quote
fretmeister Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 I like that a lot! Vids and sound clips if you have the technology please! Quote
ahpook Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 very pretty. i love the sunburst - modern, but not too much. Quote
RussFM Posted October 19, 2012 Author Posted October 19, 2012 I haven't even plugged it in yet and I'd say this is the best sub-£500 P-bass on sale right now! I can't do vids, but I'll try to record a few sound clips over the weekend! Quote
fender73 Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 (edited) I like that alot. Edited October 19, 2012 by fender73 Quote
Grand Wazoo Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Did you get it from Thomann or Bass Direct? Quote
RussFM Posted October 19, 2012 Author Posted October 19, 2012 Thomann. I did try the one at Bass Direct a couple of weeks ago, but I see on the website that's sold anyway. With Sandberg's quality I had no qualms in buying one without seeing it first. Quote
fender73 Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 The more i look at those pics, the more i want one. Be interested to hear the clips. Great bass. Quote
eaman Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 (edited) Hi could you give us an ideo of the weight of this bass? It should be pretty light for a precision as it's made of basswod, maybe this could be like the Fender Road Worn Precision without the Relic? Does it have a nitro finish maybe? Grats for the bass! grayn Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Very cool looking bass. Looks like a precision with a jazz neck. Quote
uncle psychosis Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Can anyone lend me £500? Thats stonking. Genuinely the best looking P bass I've seen in years. Quote
Adee Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 They are not quite under £500 more like £550ish, I've got Electra VS4 coming today so will get some pictures and a review sorted ASAP ! Then let you know how I get on out and about live with two different bands too ............. Quote
Lfalex v1.1 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 If I were in need of a P-style bass, this would have to be on the "to try" list. Do they do a five, though? Seems likely (without looking) Quote
Adee Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 No fivers yet, they do a P-Bass (VS4) and a Jazz (TT4) in two colours only Tabacco with Black scratchplate and Cream with Tort .............. will report back once mine has arrived ! Quote
