Warwick 2013 Limited Edition bass

Just FYI for anyone who didn't already know (like me), I exchanged emails with HP Wilfer at Warwick this morning and he confirmed that the 2013 Limited Edition will be a Thumb bass. Further details on spec available in about 4 weeks, apparently. Can't wait to see what they come up with this time.

They are usually bolt-on necks, rather than NTs, so are expensive but not mad money

On the inside cover of this months (John Taylor on the front) BGM is a piccie of a new Corvette special edish - block inlays if you please!

I'm not keen on Warwicks having owned one in the past but that does look rather nice!

erm.... always find it strange that second hand Warwicks are such a bargain but there new prices are very very high....

It's getting more to the point where the second hand prices are realistic (second hand) prices and the current new prices are the result of Germans not living in the real world.

Its made of 100% FSC certified woods - Ash Body, Wenge Top, Wenge neck and headstock veneer, and Ebony fingerboard with block inlays. A bolt-on Thumb, with retail price of £2939 for the 4-string, so just a tiny bit above the RRP for the regular Thumb BO. That seems to be the only info that's public so far.
