Though if he's just changing pickup covers and writing short and dull descriptions, I will be sad.....

It won't be long before you see Musicman rotating the machine heads to a clearly more comfortable angle facing the player.

"The bridge is a perfectly finished one that easily brought the string intonation to an oscilascope perfection; and then height adjustment allowed me to balance the individual string heights to the camber of the finger-board."
I wanted to change the colour of the pickup by the bridge to cream to give a sort of zebra look, but the cover was bonded too hard at one end so it has to stay black!
That explains a lot.

What's an " oscilascope "? Is it related to an oscilloscope perhaps?

Shame we can't see a photo of the nut just to see what butchery it has been subjected to. Do you think he's good with horses....?

Probably, but how he'd use one to set intonation I hate to think. Perhaps he'd hit the bridge saddles with it.

I do wonder why he bothers. He's paid just short of £140 including delivery and is trying to sell it for £167. Subtract eBay and paypal fees from that and he can't be making much.
especially if you factor in the costs of beeswax, oscilloscopes, microbes ( of relief) and which ever poor schmuck has to photograph him in a selection of fields

I know exactly why he bothers: to entertain his legion of followers! MDP Rocks!

You think this guy spends much time in country pubs outside of London with Mark Percy?
Who IS this Mark Percy fella? I've just had a v quick look at his site but I'd rather hear about him from BCers. So, go on, who is he?

He's the guy who got Iron Maiden their record deal, apparently.

I think it best we deprive him of the oxygen of further free publicity......

On 15/1/13, he won/paid £161 for this Schecter guitar here. Within days, he'd converted it from a 7-string to a 6-string and (re)listed it 24/1/12 for £347.00 here.

Maybe I'm missing another trick here.

why has he put 2 miss matched control knobs on when the black originals matched the rest of the hardware? `touch of class`? cheap and tacky more like! and why has he swapped the neck humbucker out for a flamin jazz bass pick up? the blokes an idiot.

Posted

humbuckers are 'only good for metal' eh? I guess someone forgot to tell gibson and gretsch that then......

how the hell do people fall for this crap.
