Jonny Clapham and The Blues Assassins are at Hoggs 'n' Heifers in Bentham for the first time, playing songs from artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Robben Ford, B.B. King, Ray Charles, Jeff Healey, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Santana and many others. Expect a generous helping of punchy driving blues and blues-influenced music with tight, well thought out arrangements, and plenty of guitar backed by a rock-solid rhythm section, guaranteed to leave you feeling anything but blue!

[b]The Bassist;[/b]
Since we're on a bass forum, I thought a bit of info on the bass player would be in order! Louise is a really experienced and rock solid bass player, having played for years on all kinds of gigs including rock bands, big bands, jazz combos, pit bands for musicals and gypsy jazz bands. She has great tone, great feel, always locks into the mix really well and will be playing a Tanglewood Curbow through a Little Mark II into a Warwick 411 PRO. The rhythm section of Louise and Tim are on top form, with loads of experience, and are an absolute pleasure to work with and well worth seeing.
