I'm a massive IH fan, so just had to share it - what a band to be a part of. Quote
lowdown Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Good stuff, and a great tune and arrangement. Funny, it sounds really odd without the superb Orchestrations on top. Garry Quote
chaypup Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 (edited) Wow nice! I know Willie Hall is on drums and Charles Pitts does the famous wah-wah guitar - but do you know who the rest of the band are? The E.P. player in particular is very familiar. EDIT: That would be 'cos it's Booker T - D'oh! Edited October 26, 2012 by chaypup Quote
Huge Hands Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 (edited) Thanks for this - I am a huge IH fan too. I had seen this clip before and have been looking for for ages on you tube. I think the bass player might be James Alexander - the only member of the Bar-Kays who survived as he didn't get on the plane with Otis Redding.... EDIT: Just read the wiki - apparently the wasn't the only survivor - the trumpet player actually on the plane survived the crash. Edited October 26, 2012 by Huge Hands Quote
Bo0tsy Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Can you dig it? - Big big Isaac Hayes fan here too! Quote

wombatboter Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 The sun must have been very bright that day in the rehearsal room...good thing they brought their sunglasses along. Quote

Although CK is a great and well respected player, look's like she has tried to shaft someone else. Garry Garry Quote
