I picked it up on this here forum from a seller whose name I forget. He was based in Lee-on-Solent if that's any help. I don't know how old it is, but the figure of 1930s is in my head for some reason. Anyway, it's old, it's all play, and it's had a repair to the neck in the past (probably before a lot of us were born). It's loud. That's the main reason I bought it - a pro double bassplayer friend tried it out for me and said it was really loud for an instrument in this price range. It's fitted with a Realist and a set of basically unused Helicore Hybrid Strings in Medium. Its only issue is that the fingerboard lifts slightly from the neck when you play hard. I would suggest that you get a luthier to glue it back down, but adventurous purchasers might want to try themselves. SOLD and you will HAVE to pick it up from my flat in London, N7.
