Leen2112
Orite Dunc, Welcome to Basschat. Check out the for sale section, you never know what might pop up. I think the first Bass I recorded with (1989 ish) was a westone thunder and I remember thinking at the time it was a pretty good feeling Bass. I had the Westone for over 20 years. I got rid of it because I ended up playing so high up all the time I had forgot how to play bass!!! Silly to sell it though. The Thunder 3 have amazing versatility. Very heavy though and my backs not as good as it was in the 90's. Thanks again... [/quote] Hiya hiding basses, tut, tut lol. Westone Thunder! Never owned one of those, found a couple on Ebay recently, but didn't follow them. You're right they are heavy, but they did have good tone for their day. Hope you find a good one soon. cheers Ellie
drdjpower
I should stop visiting this forum... I tried halfheartedly to sell my Westone Thunder 3A for £300 about a year ago. It's still in the attic, I am a bit less strapped for cash, let me know if you are interested. For sale, or to swap for a decent electric guitar. Actually, thanks itsmedunc, you may have inspired me to relist it, but I'll PM you first. Jon.
