mentalextra
I have a small practice amp that I would like to play my PC through. Apart from the usual instrument connector plugs it has an auxiliary input with 2 "line" connectors red and white. What would be the cheapest quickest or easiest way to use this instead of my puny desktop speakers? My PC has a number of different connectors on the sound card but what sort of wiring would I need to do? Thanks in advance
MrTaff
You just need a cable like this, just plugs into the headphone port on your pc. http://www.amazon.co.uk/3-5mm-Jack-Phono-Audio-Cable/dp/B000Q6LSWM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1351268828&sr=8-
mentalextra
Hmmm I think I've got something like that around here somewhere! Thanks, I'll have a look after I've cooked my tea! lol
mentalextra
Good news, found the cable. I just have to find a way to turn it down, as it seems to bypass the controls on the amp completely!
gelfin
Use the volume control on your PC
