bagsieblue Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 (edited) I’m putting this one back up for sale as I think it will have more chance of selling than the metallic pink (!) one that I’ve also got. As the more expensive basses I’ve put up for sale have not sold and with too much incoming recently something needs to be moved on. Most people on here know about these basses and for my money they are the best £ for £ bass your money can buy you. Almost certainly one of the most under rated and under appreciated basses out there. Superb quality, superb range of tones, very playable basses. Transparent Red finish, a couple of dinks and dents here and there but nothing that is serious at all. The Transparent red finish highlights the lovely grain on this bass. This electrics / wiring loom have recently been upgraded with a kit from Basschat’s Ki0gon. Controls are Volume/Volume/Tone/Tone. This is an excellent upgrade and has taken an already great bass to another level, definitely a worthwhile and significant upgrade. I have kept and bagged up the original electrics and will also include these in the sale. Once this is sold I will be ordering another kit to drop into my metallic pink(!) SB301 - that’s how good the kit is! Any trial or inspection welcome and happy to send more pics or information. More than happy to ship also. Price is £175.00, remember this includes the upgraded electrics and also the stock electrics. NOW GONE........ Feel free to PM me with any trade bait, +/- cash either way... Thanks For Looking Edited December 9, 2012 by bagsieblue

bagsieblue Posted October 27, 2012 Author Posted October 27, 2012
Hello Is this an active bass please? Thank you Mike
No, this is a passive bass - still more than capable of a wide range of tones though. These are great basses and if it wasn't for the fact I have two of them I'd be keeping it.
Pestie Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Sorry, I was looking for the active model. thanks Mike
GS1000 Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 That's a cracking deal! Lovely looker and one of the earlier ones too. A beautifully made Japanese bass. Have a bump on me!
BetaFunk Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 (edited) I bought one of these brand new about 20 years ago. Excellent basses. Edited November 25, 2012 by BetaFunk

I'm probably going to withdraw this and keep it as a museum piece.
