Recommended Posts

You might be able to get away with 'safe uninstall' before reinstalling PT. If that doesn't work then you'll need to do a 'full uninstall' before reinstalling. Also check the latest drivers for your hardware, I seem to remember that there have been some updates recently.

you just need to ensure you follow the install instructions to the letter. PT is generally rock solid once up and running but it can be fussy that you follow the instructions to the letter on install. also, PT often doesnt like to play with USB hubs so if you are using one of those that could be the problem.
