Kees_SoS Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 I've decided to part with my custom Overwater Progress III Deluxe six-string, which I had built in 2006, mainly due to injury, and also the fact that the band I used it in folded in 2009. Since then, it's spent most of its time in the case. For those couple of years of use, though, it served me extremely well. The B-string is very tight, thanks to the 35" scale, and is still sufficiently defined when dropped to A with the Hipshot. Overall, the bass is in very good condition, with just a few dings and a couple of small lacquer cracks on the body. The neck, however, is still in A1 condition. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or contact "]Laurence directly; whichever you prefer. Bearing in mind that a new equivalent would cost the better part of GBP 4000, this is a lot of bass for 1600 quid. Kees_SoS Posted December 30, 2012 Author Posted December 30, 2012 It is indeed. It's still at Overwater in Carlisle, so if you're interested the best thing would be to give Laurence Blackadder a call on 01228 590591. If you have any questions in the meantime, let me know. Cheers, Kees
