minkey1980
Immaculate fender cij pink paisley for sale or trade. With additional 'f' plate and a fender us bridge. Same single pickup precision as the blue flower and the sting basses. It was ideal for the indie band I was in at the time and a real headturner for the groupies.....(alright the mrs) but now ive started in a club covers band and the old boys are not too keen on anything that stands out....seeing as how it's an earner I've got to listen so this is up for grabs. I'll throw in a hard case to transport or collection from notts is even better. I want what I paid for it - £500 - as there are no better examples than this. Immaculate. I will be putting the cash towards a replacement so open to trades: Interested in an equivalent value trade - in particular a lined fretless or active Warwick. Papalampraina
Is that the bridge from the American Deluxe? 3-hole type?
minkey1980
Hi, Three screws. Holes for string through body. No idea what the original model was. It came with the bass. The original Japanese one will be sent with it on sale. Thanks
Papalampraina
Hi and thanks. I have the same, with an SCPB-3 (for a more modern sound) and was thinking of changing the bridge too. Great instrument, vintage aggressive precision sound, excellent Japanese craftsmanship and, most of all, b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!
BobVbass
Yes I have exactly the same - great bass and did the same deluxe bridge upgrade,a really worth while swap that really makes a great bass excellent
minkey1980
Do you know what, your right it's a great bass. I don't think I'll find better for this price so I'll tell the old blokes where to stuff their anti paisley opinions and keep it. Bass sale officially withdrawn. Papalampraina
I play in a classic/hard rock band and one might think that they didn't like it. Wrong! My bandmates fell in love with my paisley bass. You should start lecturing your bandmates.
minkey1980
To be fair it sounds amazing and is so easy to play. Best thing for me is that it's just so simple. No actives to break down Or freak me out. i used a moody looking fender jag bass in black a few years ago and all the buttons sent me dizzy. Right decision definitely.
