Hi!

I'm new to this site so let me introduce myself briefly - I'm a bass player in a function band in the Northwest UK. We usually play rock covers with the odd bit of funk occasionally. I generally play fingerstyle - never coordinated enough for slap!
I started playing bass in school when I was 13 and have been in bands off and on since - I'm now 31.
Over the years I have gained a small collection of amps/cabs, but the recent arrival of a new baby has meant the depletion of funds and a need to create some space in the house! I never realised babies were this expensive to run!

I therefore have up for sale my treasured Phil Jones Bass rig which consists of:

- PJB Suitcase Combo Amp
- PJB Piranha 4b Extension Cabinet
- PJB Neo 6b Extension Cabinet

All three are in near perfect condition, and all three come with matching padded dust covers.

I live in Cheshire and would be happy for anyone who's interested to come and see or try out the items - please PM me to discuss.

Suitcase + 4b Cab ---- £750
Suitcase + 6b Cab ---- £800
All three ----------------- £950

Please see the photos below.

Cheers!

Hey Boscoe, nice gear.

How well do the Suitcase and 6B cab work together? I think the impedence on a 6B cab is 6 ohms, which theoretically might make the amp stage on the Suitcase begin to slowly cook...

Cheers,

BB

Hi Borisbrain

Thanks!
I've never actually had much of a problem with it personally.

However, I should point out that I very rarely use the 6b with the suitcase as I have always been happy with the sound I get from the standard 4b setup. I mainly use it with my other amps -both 4ohm outputs.
