Very versatile & experienced active Double Bass player & teacher gives one on one tuition, from beginners to advanced players.

I teach styles based on 1940's & 1950's Double Bass playing & techniques, & teach with lots of patience!

Slap bass (single, double & triple slapping style as well as correct pulling & timing techniques are taught as well as an approach to learning songs & song formation.
I also teach how to avoid bad positioning & playing styles & postures.

I am also happy to give advice on set ups, repairs, strings & pick-ups as necessary.
