I teach styles based on 1940's & 1950's Double Bass playing & techniques, & teach with lots of patience! Slap bass (single, double & triple slapping style as well as correct pulling & timing techniques are taught as well as an approach to learning songs & song formation. I also teach how to avoid bad positioning & playing styles & postures. I am also happy to give advice on set ups, repairs, strings & pick-ups as necessary. I can guarantee you'll find it well worthwhile & we can do a very long lesson if you like. It's not the distance you need to travel that's important, it's what you get out of the journey!
