MoonBassAlpha Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Years ago, I tried to make a pedal from some mag which just affected the envelope of the signal, NOT a filter. Didn't work and I've since lost it (probably binned it in a fit of pique!) I've done a cursory search and got zip. Is there such a thing commercially available? Looking for a sort of bowed cello sound, but without the faff of pumping away on a volume pedal... Any help, youTuBe links etc. gratefully received Cheers Jules Quote
xgsjx Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 (edited) My old Zoom 708 had that sort of effect, so I'm sure there's something available. Edited October 31, 2012 by xgsjx Quote
bartelby Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 (edited) Boss, I think, did the Slow Gear a long time ago. You could have another go at building one: http://buildyourownclone.com/lazysprocket.html Edited October 31, 2012 by bartelby Quote
MoonBassAlpha Posted October 31, 2012 Author Posted October 31, 2012 Found Electroharmonix Attack Decay too. Very rare apparently. My search turned up more when i used ADSR as a key word.... Pigtronix do an interesting ADSR compressor sustainer thingie too. some cool sounds to be had. Bet it's loads though. Quote
pantherairsoft Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 The Moog MF-101 has an envelop out so you can use it as an envelope generator to drive something else rather than it's own filter. The MP-201 takes envelopes to the next level as well but is rare, expensive an likely OTT for most peolples needs. Quote
geoham Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 The Boss ME-50B has the slow gear effect mentioned by bartelby Quote
