This is a heavily modded Squier precision. It started life as a Squier Precision Afinity but the following mods have been made:

BBOT bridge changed for high mass (BBOT will be included should you wish)

Original neck changed for a maple board Mighty Mite with vintage tint. 70s Fender logo.

Wilkinson tuners added

Pots and wiring gubbins changed to good quality stuff (orange drop cap, CTS etc)

Pickups upgraded to Wizard Thumpers

Pick guard changed from horrible white one ply to Bass Doc 3 ply torty.

Trade wise, looking for a nice Jazz for cash.....looking at a trade value of £200.

This really is a nice Precision, a few dings but nothing major or through the paint and certainly looks the part......it's just that I have to admit that the Precision sound just doesn't work for me.

I'll post some pics as soon as I can get to the laptop.

Resurrected thread. I've upgraded the pups to Thumpers but still can't get to love the Precision sound, guess I'm just a jazz man at heart and I'd like a nice less expensive one compared to my AVRI to use at rough pubs/jam nights.

Fancy a trade for a 5 string jazz?

Thanks for the offer, but as I've found to my cost (on no less than 5 separate occasions) I don't get on with 5s. The only 5er that could possibly tempt me to have another go would be a Streamline but I don't have £1700 going spare....

Try for another bump.
I've had a few requests for a 'sale' price. Undecided on this option as yet because I think it's probably better to part out than sell whole.
