Clarebear68 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 What's your opinion on your SR505? I love mine - it's so versatile and it's got the most comfortable neck of any bass I've played so far Quote
GAPendragon Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I just posted pictures of mine in the white bass thread if anyone would like to see those. Doesn't seem much point in posting them twice. Quote
stu_g Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 hi regarding the 505, i picked up the rs900 not long ago and was thinking it would be the 4 string equivalent of my sr505 but theres just something about the 505 that is hard to describe, its so easy to play it sounds better and the action is so low,i dont think i will ever get rid of it and its probably my first and last 5 string does everything i need i thought the rs900 being a neck thru and all that would improve things a little but the 505 just works at what it does so well and also it has a nice string tension i found the 900 with thru body stringing a bit more tighter string wise Quote
Jellyfish Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Any excuse to show off my Prestige. 1 Quote

ezbass Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 (edited) Not really porn in my eyes, but here are my stripped GWB35 and my SR505 which I sold last week. Truckstop Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 This is my '82 Blazer. Not keen on newer Ibanez because I don't like 2+2/2+3 headstocks. If they did the Prestige with a 5 in-line headstock I'd be after one like a shot! Truckstop Quote
Grassie Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Here's my recently acquired Ibanez ATK310. Bought from Hamfist here on BC, unbelievably good bass for the money (even when new), the 310's are now discontinued I think, so this colour is pretty rare. Monster Stingray-like tone. If you're after that type of sound but don't have the bucks for a MM, try one of these beasts. redstriper Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 1980 Blazer, quite rare and only made for one year. Great vintage bass with tons of punch and growl, but not really my scene these days. [attachment=135522:DSCF0973.JPG] Quote
bjelkeman Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 More Ibanez pictures from me. In te second picture, a Teisco snuck in, but at least it is Made in Japan. Oh, and the RB-960 isn't that short, it is leaning backwards. And finally. . . . if anyone ever gets their hands on a 1980 Blazer. . . . . WHAT A BASS! £ For £. . . . . You make your own mind up, if you are ever lucky enough to play one. I just love Classic Ibanez Basses! Cheers. Quote
