Woodinblack
Theres mine. That fretless looks quite good. Are the 300s much different from the 500s? Edited September 11, 2018 by Woodinblack
StephenYork
This is my Ibanez SR505, she has served me well over the years and has the marks to show it. She's not quite as pristine as others but she is mine.

bjelkeman
I think I picked up something somewhat unusual, as in "I haven't seen many of these around". An Ibanez Axstar AX50, in decent shape. It needs some TLC and replacing the 1/4 jack etc. But it feels like it will play and be as nice as any Ibanez I have owned.

Ibanez guitars and basses are awesome, but I really wish they'd stop naming their models a bunch of random letters and digits!
JimBobTTD
Mr SR1205 and 1206 from the mid 90s. The SR1205 is hands-down the best instrument I have ever played. I'm not sure why Ibanez reused the model name for the newer versions.

bjelkeman
Got hold of a practically mint Roadstar RB850 from 1987. Handed it in for setup the other day. Considering I like my other RB850 (-84) a lot I am very interested to see how this one plays. bjelkeman
And continuing on the red bass track, I happened to pick up this today. Apart from a few nearly invisible scuff marks it is nearly as new. Amazingly well preserved 30 year old. bjelkeman
Thanks megallica! I wasn't going to get a pbass, but when I saw this and the shape it is in. I couldn't resist. I am going to have to sell something soon at this rate. Wonder why I never find a good deal on something I already have? ezbass
I've been playing my GWB35 loads recently and I'm in love with the way it sits on my body, the neck depth and string spacing. I stripped it when I got it and, although it does look a bit 'Bass by IKEA', I really like the blond finish. Anyway time to get to my point, the feel is quite different to my Lakland 55-02 (as much as that bass is just brilliant) so I've just put the phone down to Guitar Guitar and an SR1605 should be arriving at Ez Towers tomorrow! Same neck dims, same body shape (the Premiums seem to have a thicker top horn than the normal SRs just like the Willis) same blond appearance. Have I been too hasty (an attack of buyer's remorse here I think, I hate that feeling)? Oh well tomorrow will reveal all I guess. Pics will follow if it's a keeper. ezbass
It has arrived and it plays and sounds just the ticket. Either way Headline are getting an email. Mikey D
That is a lovely bass though (bits you've highlighted aside)! I've come near to selling it a couple of times and getting it fretted, but it is still my main (and only) bass. I'd just love the exact same but fretted to pair with it. ezbass
This landed today as replacement for the one I posted above, much better finished and more burly/curly into the bargain.
