Precision pickups

I replaced the pickups in my 2006 MIM with pickups taken from a standard US Fender and it sounds superb.

I have Kent Armstrong 10k ohm, vintage on my bitsa, cost about 30 quids and sound like an old precision. Never seem to see them mentioned on threads like this though.

That will be difficult to achieve. It's a bit like saying you want a bird wots classier than Pippa Middleton in that bridesmaid's dress.

yup, they've both got lovely round bottom ends.
