Cheers BigBeatNut...I've got myself up to speed now. I hate to be a naysayer when such a lot of work has gone into the new style format, but I'm not sure it's as accessible or user friendly as previous. There must be another way to generate some revenue via the ads tho....?

I have to admit, comparing old with new, where people have posted the same ad on both, the old is much nicer. Am I right in saying that there is no ability to "bump" classifieds, so once listed you end up in a Gumtree situation, where you ad is on page 40 after about 7 days? I also really value the interaction in the old format.

Am I not seeing a button, or can you not distinguish between which classified adverts you've already viewed and which ones you haven't?

I'll chip in my 2p, I much prefer the less formal feel of the old style market place. The new one has more of a 'corporate' vibe and seems very rigid.

We are still in the process of installing/fixing/de-bugging the marketplace, so at the moment WYSIWYG is a work in progress

Is it me or are folk posting stuff for sale on the old forum and ignoring the new format? Is this known as "posting with your feet" as it were?

Once the new classifieds is 100% functional the old marketplace will be retired but existing topics left open for sales to continue.

I prefer the new style classifieds. When i'm looking for a bass i'm not really interested if anyone had one of these when they were ten or their granny had a red one with only three strings.
The new style gets the job done. I like it.
