steverickwood
Whn I purchased a Wal bass from here a few years back it came with a handmade fretless neck built to fit the bass. I already have two excellent fretless instruments so am in process of clearing 'debris'! Its a Scottish made neck by Laidlaw and the fingerboard is ebony of approx 100 years old. Fits easily - action is subjective so its hard to say whether or not it is immediately suitable for an individuals style but I have transferred on several occasions with no prob. The machines are gold plated Schaller but fairly tarnished. However, they tune... Pricewise, tricky this - £250 or make an offer. PM me please as not interested in tons of comments - this is what it is, and no, you can't find it cheaper online [attachment=123297:229867_10151184574343570_1876308137_n.jpg][attachment=123298:301465_10151184574413570_495249621_n.jpg] Can post, at buyers expense. Otherwise, based in East Kent. Edited November 9, 2012 by steverickwood

Obviously the electronics have a big say in that bass sound...
