MuddBass
Howdy All Need to practice your Double Bass but want to be quieter and still play with the same intensity? Or has a new piece you're playing got a direction for con sordino? Sounds like you need a mute! Made of wood, this bass mute is the classic three prong style. It's designed primarily for performance muting; by attaching it to the bridge, it dampens the instrument's vibrations and results in a "softer" sound. It is attached to the top of the bridge with one "finger" between each pair of strings. Since bass bridges can vary in thickness, you may need to sand the interior surfaces of the mute, or your bridge, to ensure an appropriate fit to your instrument. The opening is about ¼ inch. I've got three Double Bass Bridge Mutes for sale is 'as new' condition, surpless to my requirements!! Only £9.00 Each Posted.
