iconic
My beater Westfield P bass B1000 which incidently I really like, has a strange quirk in that if I set my tone control to 'closed', or 'bass' setting I loose quite a bit of volume (gain/output), something I don't notice much on my other basses. This is my 'at work' noodling bass and only ever plays into a Trace GP7SMC-8210H....as if that would make difference? ...any idea's? ...I suppose an explanation of what really happens when I close my tone would be helpful to me, I'm guessing as its quite a bright sounding bass I'm loosing quite a bit of signal, hence the drop in 'volume'??? daz
I have one exactly the same model, but it does not lose any volume when tone control is moved in any direction.
