Lodestone

Hello! I'm a newbie here (although I've followed the blog for ages), so hello!! I've just bought a new bass off fleabay for £88, but I can find very little info. It's a Lodestone, but it's got a Musicman type bridge which I think is unusual. It's a great bass and sounds briliiant - can anyone offer any information? Thanks!

Lodestone are made by ashdown. They got quite good reviews but a fair few people didn't get on with the looks. I always quite liked the looks but never saw one in person/

Hey Charic! They look way better in the flesh I reckon. I know the Lodestone story but I've never seen one with this Musicman-style bridge. They all seem to have individual bridge/saddles. I'm puzzled

Can't tell anything about the bridge, but hope you enjoy BC.
I like the bass though. Might even get used to the headstock. The stuff has character.

I've seen those Billy, but mine has a different bridge, see-thru stain, matt finish, and looks to be a few years old....

Maybe it's a little bit of an earlier edition. It might be worth reposting it on in the Bass Guitars Section as you'll likely get more hits.

That bass looks pretty, but I'm not sure about the headstock. Still, I reckon I'd get used to it if it had cost me £88 and sounded and played nicely
