BassBunny Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 (edited) Excellent quality Fenix ( By Young Chang ) "P" Bass in Butterscotch Blond with Maple F/B - the build quality of these is on a par with the JV and SQ Squiers ( They used to build for Fender ). This one was built in the 80's and has the cheeky Fender like Logo and serial number Has both P-bass and Jazz pickup with 3 way switching. The "both" position connects the pick-ups in series and it is mighty. Nice high mass bridge and fantastic build quality. Very good condition for age - practically no fretwear and no dings! Plays and sounds great. I got this on BC earlier this year for a project that didn't come off so I haven't actually played it much. I have been working on some scratchplate overlays with a friend and this bass currently sports a tort one and Precision type knobs as here. [attachment=123628:Fenix_Tort1.JPG][attachment=123629:Fenix_Tort2.JPG] It is easy to peel the vinyl off to reveal the original white scratchplate and I have the original Strat type knobs as seen here. [attachment=123627:Fenix.png] I paid £160 for it earlier this year and am just looking to recoup my outlay. Packing for courier is no problem. Sold Subject to the usual. TPJ Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Hi, what's the neck dimensions on this, nut width etc...
BassBunny Posted November 12, 2012 Author Posted November 12, 2012 Haven't a clue Tom. I'll have a go at measuring it but the answer is most likely to be pretty close to Fender P dimensions.
