MusicGateway
Hello everyone, can't find the most appropriate sub-section for this post so sorry if this is in the wrong section! We are looking for a couple of bassists to interview. We’d like to get people that have been in the industry for around 2 - 4 years and have encountered many barriers that the music industry contains. Please note, you do not have to be a full time professional bassist, you just have to be trying to further your career in that direction. This will give you some great exposure via our marketing engine as all interviews will be featured on our website along with your work contact information if desired. We are a new company that aims to make networking, collaboration and work opportunities available to musicians on a global scale. We also provide unique work-space areas so that musicians can work together globally and manage audio from within our platform. We allow professional musicians to work and network with other professionals outside their local reach. We are mainly looking for people around the south of England area so that we can travel to your location and film the interview (Milton Keynes, London, Brighton area). HOWEVER, we are also looking for people in other countries for either a phone, skype, or email interview. We are in need of more than one interview, so please do get in touch. Please email our managing director Jon Skinner - [email protected], with an image of yourself, a brief music biog, a link to some of your work, and your contact information. Thanks
Ian Savage
I'd be interested if it could be done over the phone / Skype as a distance thing (I'm in Birmingham, although the band are playing London on the 22nd of December); band's called the Blacklist Saints, link's in my sig, we've just toured with Ginger Wildheart and are looking to do the UK and Europe with Torpedohead early next year, as well as following up our (very well-recieved) debut EP with a full album. As a player I've been doing the rounds on-and-off for about ten years (eep! )

gary mac
Sadly I've been around far too long then, picked up a bass in 1973
MusicGateway
Thanks for the replies and emails everybody, we have made the decision on who to interview and have got in contact with those people. We will be emailing the others to let them know also. If we have contacted you but you haven't heard back from us in a few days it's because we are trying to organise transport and our film crew before making dates and locations final! Thanks again
