Hey Big Red. What I meant to say was - "I'm done with this topic". I'm happy if you like such instruments. Play away 'till your heart's content. I'm sure you wouldn't like some of my stuff - but that's okay.

I don't want to see, play or hear an 8-string bass. To me, anything over 4 strings is uneccessary and anything over 5 is extremely dodgy. I'm not really bothered whether Mr After He Was Famous Jones plays one or not or if Mr Pearl Jam was once seen with one. Good for them.

Me, afraid of anything? Yeah right.
