Not quite new, but a newbie all the same

Hi everyone! I have been reading this forum for a year or so now, mostly for info and reviews etc. It has been a fantastic source of feedback and advice for gear related stuff I bought my Markbass F1 through Basschat a while back (cheers Chris!) and am now looking to pass on my Fender Marcus Miller Jazz if anyone is interested [url="http://basschat.co.uk/topic/191445-fender-jazz-bass-marcus-miller-signature-model-made-in-japan/"]http://basschat.co.u...-made-in-japan/[/url]

I have played bass for 15 years. Have also played guitar and was even once a drummer in an old high school band! Bass is still my axe of choice however. I play mostly rock related stuff, my bands over the years I've lived in Brighton (10 years) include [url="http://www.autumnred.co.uk"]AutumnRed[/url] (guitar and bass), [url="http://www.thepaintedsmiles.com"]The Painted Smiles[/url] (bass) and [url="http://www.myspace.com/wearewithscissors"]With Scissors[/url] (bass), all of which have stuff out you can buy if you like

Anyway, thought I'd do the introduction thing, especially as I am trying to sell you something so you can know who I am and where you can track me down!

Welcome to BC, or rather to its surface.
Guitars seem like a nice easy start for people aspiring to take it up a notch to bass later.
