I'm selling this because I'm after more of a jazz bass kind of tone now. The price I'm looking for is £1100 + shipping, negotiable. Willing to trade with a jazz bass of similar price as well, message me.

Honestly I'd rather not ship it since I only have a softcase for it unless you're willing to bear the risk. I've shipped a Dingwall across the US before, without any hardcase and it was nerve wrecking. I'm based in Central London and I'm willing to travel any reasonable distance.

Edit: Forgot about this, the pickups aren't the TW pickups, so no coil tapping.
Edit: Might just keep it and swap the pickups with a pair of EMG 40TW's if I don't get any offers by Monday.

Wow!

This is a truly spectacularly epic bass, I was lusting after this a month or so ago when SammyDamancy was selling it. Would love it and my beloved Lakland JO would go to fund it but alas, the timing ain't right.

It IS a beauty. I was contemplating slapping a pair of jazz pickups on it and changing the electronics but that'll tkae too much work and will ruin the bass as well.

They're EMG 40DC's ain't they? They do the EMG's in a P or a J in the same shape. Maybe you could do a swap out?

Yeah I saw that but I couldn't find any videos or sound clip of the tone. I like the midpunch of j-pickups but some j-pickups just doesn't have a sweet punch.

Imagine EMG J's in the 40 shape. Google/YouTube this. The only difference is the shape of the housing.

My EMG J's in my JO sound immense. Like a Jazz on steroids. Without the buzz. Nicely! ;-)

Does it have the adjustable or non adjustable EQ?

It's got bass boost/cut +14dB/-4dB @55Hz, treble boost/cut +14dB/-12dB @6,5kHz, volume, volume.

I just wondered if it had the little white screw driver adjustable output on the onboard pre inside the bass? The black square box inside the back of the bass may or may not have this little white screw head on it. It adjusts the output. Some Tone Pumps have them some don't. My old one didn't.
