charic Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Any suggestions of plug ins to get for Pro-Tools? I'm considering the T-Racks 3 Singles although I need to listen a bit more. Or is it worth saving for a while and getting one of the cheaper waves suites? (Silver perhaps?) Quote
paul_5 Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Depends what you want it for. I've used Waves plugins in the past, and the only one that I went back to time and time again was the SSL E-channel - I'm not really one for mixing etc... in the box, but that particular plugin just sounds brilliant. The SSL Buss compressor is also a handy thing to have. Not really had much experience with the T-Racks stuff, so can't help you there. Sorry. Quote
charic Posted November 15, 2012 Author Posted November 15, 2012 No worries, just looking to expand the toolset somewhat. Although I love the protools way of working I am finding the plugins a little lacking in comparison to what you get with logic when it comes to total functionality. I would absolutely kill for a good EQ with real time frequency analysis instead of having to use a freq analyser seperately Quote
