Joker2807
Hey Guys... I have been visiting the forum for a couple of weeks now and I thought it was about time that I joined. I used to play Bass around 11 years ago when I played in a band in high school. Now after all those years I decided that I would like to take it up again seen as I am more patient and have a lot more time to dedicate to it. so now I am saving up for a new bass... I have only ever had cheap instruments and now for once I want a real instrument!! glad to be hear anyways guy Joker2807

BassTractor
Hey Joker, Computer says NO!!! Welcome to BC, and keep on enjoying it. Sadly, a real instrument won't cut it, as you probably lack the prowess to appreciate the differences between the real instruments. You're only gonna be a loser like me who uses lotsa money on stuff without grasping why. Don't be me! For the rest, enjoy your stay! best, bert

Joker2807
hey again.. I've got my eye on a precision but I am still unsure as to go for a Jazz or not (I appreciate not everyone loves Fenders but I do). My budget is no more than £650. ThomBassmonkey
Hey! if I were looking at 4 string fenders for your budget, I'd be checking out the japanese ones. Usually around £400 second hand and generally thought of to be as good/better when compared to the US models. Also check out Sandberg. They do some great Fender style basses and second hand are around £650.
