steve-bbb
.... while you are playing at your various gigs, that there will be the least possible opportunity, to refuse the inevitable 'human jukebox band' syndrome you may even have to play MUSTANG SALLY for the baying (and paying) punters!! personally i will throw in an extra tenner if anybody finds out where Bilbo is playing tonight and demands a certain tune for a charitable donation !! M N L I G H T anyone?
steve-bbb
could work either way though i guess!! the band could threaten the audience to play certain songs unless the bucket fills up quicker
crez5150
The function band I played with had in the T&C's that there was a £500 clause to play Mustang Sally. Only ever payed out once though..... and that was at a Russian wedding.

So what songs do we think an audience would pay us NOT to play?

bremen
Is it just me that has no idea what this is about (apart from the Bilbo's-favourite-tune reference :-) ?

thebrig
Why not have two buckets? One for those who wants Mustang Sally played, and one for those who don't want it played, and the one that has the most money in by the end of the gig wins. Then it's either played or not played! That way you should get a bidding war and raise even more money.
