chrismuzz Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 I own a Squier strat and its a nice guitar actually! And being a Peavey fan I actually want to own one of the higher up Raptor models one day, but these should be fine too, maybe even better than the Squier!
Ancient Mariner Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Probably OK. I'd check out used Pacifica 112s - there was one for sale in the forum for £65 a little while back (the guy with Kiera Knightly as an avatar) and it would be a fair bit better than either of those.
leftybassman392 Posted November 19, 2012 Posted November 19, 2012 +1 on the Pacifica. A good used one will be in a different league from the Peavey (or a Squier for that matter) at around the same price.
Marvin Posted November 25, 2012 Author Posted November 25, 2012 Cheers. Unfortunately trying to get a used Pacifica is easier said than done. They all seem to be buyer collects and nowhere within driving distance of where I am,
Ultima2876 Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 Squier Bullets are a great first guitar. For the price, they're actually incredibly decent, and I've actually seen someone gigging with one (!) in my time
