The 'replacement' neck defo isn't a pukka Tokai one; aside from the badly applied tattoo it is just the wrong shape! I'd doubt the body was Tokai either.

Check out the head stocks on the Vintage branded basses, looks similar to me. Also can't quite tell but aren't the tuners Wilkinsons, again used by Vintage basses (not that there is owt wrong with them, just not Tokai!)

99.9% sure that you can still see the poorly sanded off 'Vintage' decal underneath the fresh Tokai decal.

Still, might be a decent instrument.
