The fingers on my left hand have become quite painful recently. I hope its not arthritis kicking in, that,ll spell the end of my bass playing days! :(

Omega 3 fatty acids are where it's at. And the balance between them and Omega 6.

I take flaxseed oil every day at that has really helped with my bad joints. Even my big right toe which I have a bad case (supposedly untreatable other than cortisone injection) of impact arthritis in from a football injury.

Did it get trapped in your wallet ?

For clarity, Is it the 2nd or 3rd joint from the end of the finger ?

I had a similar concern a few years ago. My sister in law, a nurse of many years, suggested I try Glucosamine Sulphate.

AFAIK there is no scientific evidence to show that taking Glucosamine Sulphate as a supplement will help. Maybe it's the placebo effect at work, maybe it isn't... all I know is that I've had no serious aches and pains in my fingers since taking it.

Sorry, its the second joint, or the one above the knuckle. It doesnt seem to be swollen. It seems I need to get myself down to holland and barrett.
Thanks discreet for the pm.
