Jacqueslemac Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 You know how you swear you'll never sell your first bass? Well, the time has come to part with mine. It's a Washburn XB400. It has two active humbuckers and a fast, slim Jazz-style neck. It's in perfect original condition because as soon as got close to gigging I retired it and bout my first Fender. I bought it back in 1999, but can't remember exactly how much I paid, nor do I know what they're worth now. I've put it up for £250, which could be low for one of this age in this condition, but I'd rather see someone else put it to good use. Can be collected from Norwich or I may be able to meet somewhere on my work travels. I'm also happy to courier it at the buyer's expense. I'll take some better photos if anyone's interested in it. The finish is translucent and the grain shows through, but it doesn't really come out in these pictures.
