Roadworn vs MIM jazz bass

I don't know that much about different basses, but I had the pleasure of a brief noodle on a Roadworn jazz bass recently and it was an absolute peach to play. Can a MIM jazz be set up/altered to play as well with a bit of sorting, maybe smoothing the finish off the back of the neck, rolling the fretboard edges a bit etc?

I've never tried a MIM so I don't actually know what they feel like!

By MIM I take it you mean the 62RI?

The closest I've come to the feel of the RW is a Squier CV Jazz.

Not tried the 62RI meself, although they look very nice and are a bit cheaper than the RoadWorns.
