I started the process of gauging interest in all this ages ago, at which point life got in the way on a grand scale and it all ground to a halt.

Worse, I'm about to disappear off to the States for 16 days, so there'll be nowt happening for a while to come either.

Those live versions of Suspicious Minds that are albums and YouTube are absolutely fabulous. The energy coming off the Elvis band is just astonishing and Jerry Scheff's lines are glorious. If you're ever in need of cheering up I'd suggest a listen. I'm off to buy a copy of his book; it seems like exactly the sort of book Id like :-)
