christmas song harmony

ok so long story short its that time of year again when al the radio stations go nuts with the christmas songs

unfortunately i play in a couple of function bands and we've been forced into learning some tunes


however i'm sat here listening to i wish it could be christmas by wizzard

man some of the harmony in that song and particularly the runs into the chorus and bridge are awesome i'm begrudgingly admiring the writing of that song its very well written

anyone know the bass player on that track offhand?

sorry to have jumped the gun with my premature christmassyness but i thought this deserved some recognition
