Can't upload pics when trying to sell something..

I tried the usual way on my Mac mini , but error messages came up, or nothing moved.
The site won't let me do it on ipad.
Any ideas?

Also tried uploading pics direct to the site yesterday in Ebay Sales section. Also on a Mac (with Safari). Eventually gave up and used Photobucket. But - hey! - at least the black first-unread-posts buttons are back. Mostly.

Can someone explain why anyone would want to use the forum uploader (when its working) over an image host like Photobucket?

AFAICS, Photobucket images display straight away at a sensible size within posts, plus they don't use up valuable Basschat server space and bandwidth. I can see only upsides to this and no downsides at all.

One reason I'd be inclined to use the site's uploader is that where I work images hosting websites are blocked. But images hosted on this website aren't. So I guess other people maybe have similar issues at work.

It's rather annoying not being able to see images, especially in the marketplace.

Also the 'paid' marketplace listings which display an image as the thumbnail rely on at least one image to be uploaded for it to work, so until it's fixed, we're sipping fumes! We have plenty of server space and bandwidth.
