Bass leads

I am about to invest in quality leads----from DB to amp. What are you experiences of leads---the more you pay the better the quality, or is that a misnomer? Your preferences of makes? Are the 'Monster' make worth the money?

I've used nothing but Spectraflex for the last 7 or 8 years. I can't recommend them highly enough.
