Crazyeelboy Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 (edited) Hello BassChatters! I just joined and put up a link on the Introductions, but I thought I'd make a further contribution to the site's content. Here's our new album entitled "Filth". Feel free to give it a listen and let me know what you think - as always, jack up the bass and turn up the volume! Crazyeelboy Posted December 3, 2012 Author Posted December 3, 2012 (edited) There may have been a technical problem with the link. I fixed the link in the original post, but just in case... http://www.soundcloud.com/frenchwhorenamedbabette Edited December 3, 2012 by Crazyeelboy Quote
Skol303 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Welcome Eelboy! Interesting band name you have there... and some good music too. Nicely mixed, the bass sounds great. Reminds me of Butthole Surfers and NoMeansNo. I like it! Quote
Crazyeelboy Posted December 5, 2012 Author Posted December 5, 2012 (edited) Big thanks for the welcome and the comments. Honestly, I never listed to the surfers - I'll have to check that out! I just checked out your Bad Riddance - cool stuff! Is that a theremin in the solo part? Very groovy. Edited December 5, 2012 by Crazyeelboy Quote
Skol303 Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Cheers mate! Yeah, that's a Theremin in the instrumental part. Not a real one unfortunately - it's a synth patch - but it sounds ok. It's got to be one of the most distinctive synth sounds. Very spooky and has great vibrato. You can actually buy Theremin on ebay quite cheaply but I've heard they're a real pig to play. Anyway, glad you dig it Quote
Crazyeelboy Posted December 6, 2012 Author Posted December 6, 2012 We have a theremin, but it is kind of hard to work into the songs. We were trying to put it into one of the songs on the current album but it didn't work out in the studio. Maybe next year... Quote
Schnozzalee Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Really enjoyable playing, fair play to you sir! , love precision basses. Quote
Roland Rock Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 I had a quick listen for now and loved what I heard (soup Jesus and Superstar) Will have a proper listen later. Nice one Quote
Crazyeelboy Posted December 12, 2012 Author Posted December 12, 2012 Thanks for the good word, Roland! Quote
