What do you partner your Fuzz with?

I'm thinking about my pedals again, and as the title says, I'm curious as to what people partner their Fuzz effects with.

So, for those players who have big Fuzz sounds, what else do you have on your board and why?

I really like it with phaser too, it can sound a bit cheesy but if use properly It think it helps high register stuff stand out.

I like to parallel blend it with a really harsh attacking overdrive sound

And a sample rate reducer for that broken robot vibe. And a 2-octave pitch shift so you can bust out the Top Gun theme in the middle of your band's crappy 'ballad'.

I'm not a massive fan of filters but +1 to the octave pedal before

I like to use an OC-2 into either a frederic effects green russian or more recently the fuzzrocious grey stache.

I like mixing it up with some envelope filter or octaver...sometimes both. For some really
crazy stuff,I like to add a ring modulator-it's mental.

Octave before is just fantastic. Octave plus fuzz in the loop of my Meatball clone for more fantastic. Not always usable in the bands I've been in, but lots of fun. Also phaser before or after. Can be pretty mental after the fuzz but again good fun!

whereas i like mine with a 'almost-there' overdrive...just a wee bit of hair.

A volume pedal, an octaver, a filter, an overdrive, another fuzz, a delay, a reverb, a phaser, a chorus... pretty much most things can sound cool with a fuzz.

Generally I'll stack it with an overdrive, currently my BB Pre, or an Octaver, currently an OC-3.
