Walker Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 What is that really nice, rubbery, heavy duty power flex you get on high quality power tools? I've got some on a blue Bosch jigsaw and I want some for my music gear. Almost feels like silicon and its really flexible with zero memory. Anyone know what it's called? Quote
whizzzy Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 I think it is H07 RN-F you are refering to - http://www.h07rnfcable.co.uk/ It's used a lot in the professional lighting industry. Quote
Walker Posted December 5, 2012 Author Posted December 5, 2012 Thanks whizzzy - that looks like it could be the stuff. I'll have a run upto our local TLC now I know what to ask for! Quote
whizzzy Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 If you have a B & Q near you you could try there as our local store sometimes has H05 RN-F in stock. H05 is quite similar to H07 but with a lower voltage rating (300/500V as opposed to 450/700V) so well within the scope of any single phase mains voltages here in the UK. Be sure you get the correct power rating for your needs though as it comes in different sizes. Quote
Big_Stu Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Depending on whether they have a sale on you can sometimes get it for a lot less if they have the 4-way extension reels in that use it. Not that it breaks the bank at normal prices that is. Quote
